Around Here we are Painting. Lots and lots of painting. Mostly watercolors, but there is the occasional collaboration of paint daubers and acrylics.
Around here we are hanging. Hanging clothes- baby ones to be exact. Airing them out after some years of confinement. I would like to say they have been perfectly organized in the proper bins and boxes, but the fact is that they have been smushed together inside of a big black trash bag at the bottom of our linen closet. Pure relief in admitting that-whew.
Around here I am making. Making time to document our stories this year. There are a few journaling spaces waiting to be filled- but this is simplicity at its finest. Lots of photos +lots of stories.
Around here we are laughing. Laughing at funny conversations between two sometimes serious, but often silly boys. Both of whom are quickly approaching their half birthdays-4 1/2 & 2 1/2.
Around here we are listening. Listening to the sounds of the ocean, far far away.
Around here Brandon is climbing. Climbing a certain tree at the park we visit during tolerable weather conditions. While he is having fun, and I love watching him explore- I see many a ripped pant in my future.
Around Here Simon is also climbing. Climbing on ladders and slides, on beds and couches, and the occasional shelving unit in the previously mentioned linen closet.
Around here I am expanding. Expanding due to the growing wee one inside of me.
(pun completely intended)."For behold, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers have already appeared in the land; the time has arrived for pruning the vines and the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land." Song of Solomon 2:11-12
