The Really Big Catching Up Post

Hello again blog land. It's been a few months and lots has happened since I posted here, so let me try and get you all caught up. Last you read were my plans on sharing what I would do with the photos and stories of our Day in the Life and I will make it easy for you and share the link to the mini album I made that contains that information {to see it click here}.
On Memorial Day Weekend, we drove a few hours out of town to go to "the big city", AKA Billings. We checked out the Zoo, Hit up a thrift store for maternity clothes, and attempted to swim in the very cold water of the hotel's indoor pool. Brandon went on his first ferris wheel ride with Joe. New experiences for the win!  It was chilly and a bit rainy, but turned out to be just the getaway we all needed.

A few weeks later, we left town again- off to Indiana- this time to see family. As we were traveling, we recieved news that  my Great Grandmother had a stroke and was taken to the hospital. During our stay she recovered enough to be moved to a nursing home and by God's grace, she continues to make progress. Midway through our trip, Joe and I left the boys with my parents, and headed to Dallas for a quick celebratory trip...Our 10 year anniversary is later this summer and it was a blessing to getaway for a bit! This was our first time leaving the boys and they handled it like pros, having loads of fun with the uncles, aunties, cousins, and of course, Grandpa and Grammie. In both trips combined (Dallas & Indiana), we were able to reconnect with family, fellowship with sweet friends and eat yummy food (Chick-Fil-A, In&Out....and all God's people said, "AMEN"). Although we encountered many travel delays on all legs of the trip, the Lord was faithful in providing us with the blessing of our trip and I was reminded of Proverbs 16:9 throughout our journey.

Fifteen days after returning home, we packed many boxes, cleaned many corners and moved to a larger home in the same area. It is a better layout and the goal is to accomodate our growing family. On July 6th we said goodbye to our old home, and hello to the new.

The boys are currently loving to play in the backyard together, and while there are still many squabbles to reconcile, they are embracing the art of the play mate.

Not only are these boys getting big, but so is the wee one growing inside of me. The wee one is 32 weeks along, hoping to make her debut early September. Let the countdown begin!
Well, that's all for now, hoping to be back sooner than the last time with a bit more to share from our lives.
